I love the idea of a Student Chrome Squad, and wonder if it would be possible to begin with a group of 8th graders that could take their learning up to the High School with them. Our district is getting their toes wet with the 1:1 Chromebooks, and there are so many things that the students just do better, and learn quicker. I’d like to start a Student Chrome Squad Jr.
    Thoughts and possible pitfalls?

Absolutely love this. I have been wanting to add something similar to this to our high school and junior high campuses. We are 1:1 Chromebooks at our JH and are going from 1:1 iPads to 1:1 Chromebooks at our HS. This is our 6th year 1:1. We use to run an iHelp team but ran into some roadblocks. I think the program that you have created is one of the best I have seen. Would love to chat more about the specifics. How do you get your admin on board? Do students miss class? are they assigned to you at a certain time? Are you always on campus when they go to calls? Lots of questions.
